I regret not getting a V8, then again, I can barely afford to pay for insurance and this car. So 5% regret it.

I wish I would have gotten the insturment console with all 4 readouts(temp, fuel, oil & battery), right now ours just have 2(fuel and temp). I could have talked the salesmen into better rims too. Make sure you talk them into doing your tint too.

not getting a manual transmission
Automatic bugs the hell outta me... especially on fords.. its always in the wrong gear at the wrong times...
oh well thou... that's what the rest of life is for.. getting what you want
anyways..

One of the main problems with the Automatic is they are upshift happy to maximize fuel economy... At light throttle the car will be in 3rd gear by 16MPH! Also, Ford likes to make the shift so smooth it's ridculous... LOL!
Soooo... I would pick up an SCT X-Cal2... it will fix a lot of shortcomings of the automatic... I recommend Lidio at Alternative Auto (www.alternativeauto.com). It will greatly improve the feel of your automatic. I've also pushed out my shift points... So the car is no longer upshift happy, it keeps the RPMs up more in the power band... it just feels like is in the right gear now... especially if I come off a stop light at light throttle and then get on it... I'm no longer in 3rd at 16MPH.... I'm still in first... so when I punch it I GO... no more annoying downshifts!
