Default ordering regrets?

Ordering my 06 V6 with pony package this week for the new year.
Decided on Tungston Grey (finally).
Does anyone have any regrets over options they ordered with or wish they did? sound system? striping? interior upgrades? etc...
Any feedback would be great.....my first mustang since the 67 fastback I had 16 years ago...
Thanks,
Bill.

I wish I would have gotten the insturment console with all 4 readouts(temp, fuel, oil & battery), right now ours just have 2(fuel and temp). I could have talked the salesmen into better rims too. Make sure you talk them into doing your tint too.

Im happy with the options I purchased (interior upgrade, pony package, side airbags), and the color and seating. However I think I could have struck a better deal, or asked for window tinting, or something. I was dealing with 3 dealers, 1 wouldnt answer my questions or emails, the 2nd didnt seem very interested in working with me - and wouldnt deal at all, the 3rd, the guy I bough from was nice enough, but I still didnt save a lot off of msrp, and no free extras. I guess at the time I was ordering a few months ago these cars were so hard to find, that the dealers didnt make much effort to sell them. Its a great car, no complaints about the car. good luck.

Ok, I confess, sometimes late at night, when I'm all alone on a twisty back road, I wish I had a manual transmission...

But in reality, for 95% of what I do (road trips) I'm glad I've got the automatic and cruise control. The other things I got that might have been a bad idea were the extended warranty (It does kind of get in the way mod-wise) and the Shaker 1000, which seems to not be that great of a audio system. So if you are planning on substantial modifications to the car, skip the extended warranty, and save the money you would spend on the sound system and go by Tweeters or some other speciality house. I am also looking at a CDC ducktail spoiler, which would be a much easier installation if I did not already have the factory spoiler since I would not have to fill in and repaint the factory mounting holes.

I am also planning on adding a rear sway bar, but you already have that, I believe and dual exhaust. You might check with your dealer to see if you can get them to add this as part of the purchase price. I got them to throw in the GT grill and foglights and the GT Bullitt wheels. All of this was part of the purchase and did not constitute an additional expense after purchase. You might also try this on the sound system, you never know. My dealership has an aftermarket specialist on staff so depending on what your dealer's setup is, you might get them to outfit your Mustang just the way you want it.

Regrets...none since it's the best car I have ever bought. However, I wish I had choosen to go without the spolier. Like Pyrat I want the ducktail. But never, ever, ever a regret. Definetly make them do your tint. Should come standard as far as I'm concerned but, I live in Vegas and 100+ degrees in a everyday thing between July and August. You get the idea.

Not a single regret. I reviewed over and over again what I wanted from the factory options, and then got exactly that.

Yeah, i've thought about a ducktail myself... CDC does make this that covers up the holes:

Thanks everyone...
I ended up ordering this afternoon.
V6, tungston grey, dark charchol interior, pony package, side air bags, shaker 500, interior upgrade. Luckily I used to work at the dealership and still have a few friends who do, so price was good ( just over invoice). Won't be taking the extended warranty because I sell them now as part of my current job so I get them wholesale..
Now I just have to sell the beemer and wait........
Anyone have a good striping kit they would recommend?

If you are looking for a tape stripe kit, these guys seem to be the place to go.

For painted on stripes, there was a thread somewhere discussing that. I'll see if I can hunt it down for you.

Ok, here it is. The thing that was interesting in this thread was the difference in the quality and workmanship of the job.
