So I take the car in for a oil change yesterday morning and ask them to take a look at the tranny 'cause 1st gear is a pain and it pops out sometimes. They don't call and I call at the end of the day and they say they have to keep it overnight. Then I call this afternoon and they say they have to order some parts and don't know when it'll be done. So I go down there and find out that it is going to take 3-4 days just to get the parts for 1st and then more time to send it to their tranny shop. All this without a single phone call from them to tell me what they had found and what was going on. Needless to say I am pretty steamed.

 

this happened to my dad's car too, arent you supposed to get a free rental tho?

 

One would think, but they usually are short of rentals and you have to make an appointment for service and a rental like months in advance. Plus the guys at my dealership are just ******** in the service department and seem incredibly incompetent
