i tapped into a wire in the ignition harness its black and pink...works wonders
. if anyone else need this asistance its on the lefts side of the steering wheel underneth

good job, it sounds like you tapped into the battery 12 volt constant wire, wit should be great, but just make sure your amp turns off when you turn off your car, one more thing, what did you hook your RCA's up to???

I didnt tap into the 12volt constant it is the accessory wire.
