As you probably know, the folks at C&L support (and sell) the Diablo Predator tune with their intake. At first glance, one could infer that the working relationship between the manufacturer in C&L and Diablo could produce a superior tune for the intake. Most of the folks in this thread and others however tend to vouch for the SCT X-Cal2 tune.

Can anyone offer any opionions/commentary as to the SCT tune vs. the Diablo tune with the C&L intake on a '05, V6, 'stang?

I bought my C&L intake system from C & C performance on e-bay ($75 cheaper than C & L Perforamnce) around Christmas. Unfortunatly I can't find them on e-bay any more. They were a direct supplier of the C&L system with the diablo predator tuner. I have had no problems and can really feel a difference. I have not had my car dynoed yet so I don't know what increase of horsepower I gained. I am running the preset 93 oct tune. I was looking at the Steeda system with SCT II but I liked the C&L better because of the heat sheild. I really don't know which tuner is better.

How does this look?

C&L intake and xcal2 for $565 + $20 shipping. It's about $75 cheaper. [&:]
