Default Scratches on the tinted windows

I had my 06 tinted and after just a couple weeks there appears to be long straight line scratches in both window tints. Looks like something maybe inside the doors hitting the window when they go up and down. Anybody else have this problem with tint? [:@]

the insides of my tint looks like there r lines in it or whatever but from the outside u cant see it... i dunno, i think something may have happened cuase when u open the door the window goes down alittle then when u close it, it goes back up... and they said not 2 open the window cuase it could do stuff 2 it but this is inevitable on our cars...

there is no soft seal between the rubber and the window... so its too abrasive. There is something you can get added... but i have no idea what it is.

Do a search , this has been dicussed a lot before. Bottom line is u have to add a strip of felt to the plastic liner on the inside of the door , that way it will not scratch ur tint job when u raise and lower them . Good Luck

The inner seal needs to be lined with moleskin or felt:
