ok i can get an 05 with stripes and bunch of extras or an 06 stock pretty much stock...I always hear to get the 06 because all the bugs that the 05 had are fixed...are the problem that bad?

The problems were solved by the second half of 05, but go for the 06 and have the fun of doing the mods yourself as funds permit. It's a blast!
