Thanks for the practical insight. As I've planned to get this mod, I decided that the purchase decision should not be based on the occasional rear seat occupant. They come, they go (or grow) but the "Cayuse" is my car. If you like the looks of a light bar, get it. Your passengers will figure out how to get in and out.

Thanks Tres, the install kinda looks like a pain, but the instructions are clear and easy to understand. I'm gonna get one eventually, but have other mods I want to make first. I really didn't think it would be as pricey as it is. I wonder if I could paint it to match my car? Thanks again all, I appreciate it! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

The install isn't that bad at all. Just take it a step at a time.

As far as painting one, they're covered in a vinyl skin, so paint wouldn't be a great option. I have seen many of these where someone had a custom upholstery shop recover it in a unique color though.

+1 on that, as far as mod's go the install looks to be a breeze As a sidebar I was thinking about buying another car, but the trade-in on my sixxer was embarrassing. 17k!!! I paid sticker for it a year ago, so that would mean I paid over 1k/month to own it for a year [:@] And when they were driving off my baby to evaluate it, I thought "What the h3ll am I doing????" It looked sooooo good, I think that was the first time I've actually seen it driving/moving since no one else ever drives it. Sounds good too, usually I'm inside it and don't hear it from a distance. The sequential brake lights, duals, GT grille and I still love the V6 wheels so much more than the GT wheels- I was really questioning my sanity about considering selling it Anyway, I'll be keeping her. The light bar will be the next purchase and then a supercharger I'm leaning towards the X-Charger, but there's a local place that installs other brands and I'm going to swing by and have a chat with them.
