Default pony grills is in

I have no pics YET But they are coming

I have a few tips to save money rather then give it to ford

I got the grill, ligths and retainers(fords fancy word for screws wish i would have known that)) $77 $121 and $8 with tax about $220

For the light pigtails i went to shucks and got a set of 9005 bulb pigtails. I then moded the bulbs to fit the plugs. the bulbs have a thin piece of plastic that seperarts the post all you have to do is remove that small bit and it works great. I heated the tip of a screw driver and slowly weidled it down so the plug would fit $7 for a set and ford wanted $40

I wired the switch to a power source that is only on with the key (i used the amp turn on) and mounted the switch on the headlight switch panel

all said and done $230 not a bad price at all. I was shocked to see how bright they are there damn near a stand alone headlight!!

Hi,
There don't seem to be any adjustment ****. In any case, see this pdf on pony light removal. Hopes it helps.

Is it possible to turn the gear while the lights are on? Maybe it just adjusts the angle of the beam. Not sure. Nice prices, where did you buy the parts?

there is no way to turn the the gear while it is n there i dont think. It was pretty tight. as far as where i bought the stuff the grille, lights, and the retainers/screws was ford DLR but i do get a small discount do to the fact the company i work for get a small deal

now on the rims, they are comin i just have not seen a set that i was realy into. I was going to go with the mustang tuning 18*9 cuas they would match the black reflective strips( most of the time the strip looks silvery, unless viewed form the font of the car then its black)

I dont want a super flashy chrome rim, i think that would take away from the old body style of the car. IE the saleens and the rear tail lights "REAL MUSTANGS HAVE 3 LIGHTS EACH SIDE NOT 2"
