On behalf of the Sacramento Area Miata Owners Association (SAMOA) I would like to extend an invitation to you or any of your members who are interested in tracking your Mustangs at Thunderhill. We have reserved the track on Monday, June 19th. for an open lapping day. It is open to all makes of cars and enthusiasts. We will run 3 groups (advanced, intermediate and novice) and a minimum of 6 20-minute sessions per group. The cost is $210 ($225 after May) and includes lunch and refreshments. A raffle will be held at noon.

All track and raffle proceeds will go to benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. SAMOA has established a website to publicize the event. Is it just me or is it insanely ironic that the miata owners call their club samoa? I mean, you got a club for the smallest cars with acronyms for the biggest people.

Well, we are 2 months out and as of today I have 23 paid...just about right I guess. If you plan on signing up don't wait too long as some of the groups can literally fill up in a week. And we don't want to disappoint anyone.
