Tire width

I have 18 x 9 cobra wheels. I have 245/40/18's on them now and i wanted to put 265/40/18's in them but i'm not sure if they will rub in the front. I have a 2001 gt convetibe. Can anyone help?

definitally fine...im getting my second set of 265 in the front and you got good room...no worries

We list that size as a rear only fit but I know people like ponysnake99 often do get a wider size than "normal" to fit.

If you are talking about a tire that gets you great wet and dry traction but no cold weather/snow traction than I can suggest a few:

bf goodrich gforce kd

michelin pilot sport ps2

yokohama advan sport

bridgestone potenza re050a

You could do a 265/35/18 or a 275/35/18. Either one would fit fine and look really sweet.
