ok so will a 285 40 17 fit in the back with stock rims on an 02 gt ans will 255s be to wide for the front

 

you can fit 275 in front and 315 out back... so yea your tires will be fine

 

Our info states you have a 17 x 8. If that is the case 315 would be too wide.

285/40 would be too large as well.

255/45 would fit fine on the front.

you need at least an 8.5 to 9" wheel for the 274/40 to fit.
