Well..After struggling to get my wheel locks off (lost the key), I finally installed my new (used) rims. I initially wanted to go with some roush-like wheels but am very happy with these original Cobra wheels. They are 17" x 8. For tires I went with 255/45s..thanks Tirerack

If you would have taken your car to a discount tire or propably any tire store they could have burned them off for free if you would have bought either some new wheel locks or new lug nuts and it would have only taken about 2 minutes to do so.

 

That is not true at all. Many tire shops quoted up to 125 dollars to remove wheels locks. Ford was no help, just wanted to cut them off for a lot of $$$, even though, Mcgard said they had purchased a Master Key set.

However, I pounded a lug wrench, slightly larger than the lock nut and they came right off.

 

wow people charge for that I work at discount tire and we just rip those suckers off free.
