ET Streets question.

ET Streets question.
I have an opportunity to get my hands on some very good condition M/T ET Streets for a 15 inch rim 10 inches wide for about $150. My question is can my rear end take a tire this sticky? It seems like a really good deal and i'd love the traction for when I head back to the track in the spring since I'll hopefully be Vortech or ProCharger blown.

RE: ET Streets question.
You are really rolling the dice with sticky tires without a built rearend. I had to have my gears done again for the second time and upgraded to 31 spline axles and center sectionwith 4.10's because I knew I was going to be hammering them at the track with MT's.
If its not a far tow from the track and you have the money sitting in the bank waiting, you could definately risk it, and it may be quite some time before itgrenades.Or just dont launch it too hard until its built, off idle clutch dump+floor it.
