fr500 wheels
ive got a 1990 mustang with a 5 lug conversion, running ranger axles in the rear (which will hopefully be replaced somewhere down the line) im lookin into a new set of fr500 wheels 17x8 up front, and 17x10.5 in the rear. what kind of backspacing would i need to have enough clearance for the 10.5" wheels. also is the bolt pattern for the ranger any different from that of the mustang?
thanks!
thanks!
I don't think you will get 10.5's out back, but 17'x8's up front is no problem at all and could probably go 9's.
Look at a ***THIS*** post just yesterdayre: 10's out back of Fox Body. Several of us discussed this and 88Mach1 has 9's but running 1' spacer. He was good enough to provide back-space info and some other tips on how to get that wheel out there. If you took a hammer to some parts of inner fender and MAJOR fender rolling, you 'may' get 10.5's on rear, but I wouldn't try it based on the info I learned just yesterday
