wheel adapters????
does any one know if just the regular aluminun wheel adapters will work with the occasional burnout. or should i get the billet aluminun? also if anyone can tell me a good place to get 5 Lug 4.5 To 5 Lug 4.75 for a decent price could u let me know?? Thanks Justin
I DON'T recommend you use 4x5 bolt adapters. I think they are far more likely to come loose and hence be unsafe. I have about 3 or 4 other good reasons, but don't want to list them all
I run 1/2" spacers on rear of my ride, but are just spacers and not adapters. I have also installed longer/stronger lug-bolts and not at all concerned with any safety issues whatever. I think mine are billet, but as long as it is solid aluminum, they will be fine. Besides, I think the only way to make them is billet, but am not sure.

So sounds like you will go with spacers that have only holes and NO studs? You will need to replace your wheel studs with longer ones so they will still give adequate threads for lug-nuts.
Are spacers for clearance issues or looks?
