Tires for Eibach Spring.
Hi!, i have 1992 gt 5.0 i install eibach sportline with kyb shocks, now i bought new ford racing cobrar R wheels 17x8 with Nexen tires 245/45/17, my problem is front, my rubber hits the fender wheelhouse, can i fix this change the tire size? maybe with a tire 255/40/17, is like half inch less, what can you suggest me?
Thanks any help would be appreciated.

This sounds like an off-set issue to me
You should NOT be rubbing on that tire. Many, including myself for a while, were/are running a 275/35/18" tire on 9" wheels and is same diameter tire.
What is the back-space / off-set of your wheels? If you don't know, can you put up a link to them?

Actually, a +15mm should be fine on an 8" wheel for your ride, hmmmmm.....
I ran a 245/40/17" tire on my 8" wheels with 2" drop on my '85 GT and had zero rubbing. This must be an issue of a higher profile, as my tire had 1/2" more clearance all the way around (1" less diameter for a 40 series).
I suggest you roll the fenders a bit or pick up new tires. No other way to address this issue.
