Default Help With Offset & Clearance

I know this question has been beaten to death-and-back more times that we can count. So before posting this I did a lot of searching and reading yet still have a question.

I own an 08 Mustang and I am switching out brakes and wheels on it. I bought a used StopTech Big Brake kit, 4 piston calipers and want to run 18x10's front and rear.

I've read that 18x10 offsets between +40mm to +45mm are generally fine for front clearance on S197's...depending on the tire. Of course as fate would have it one of my favorite wheels comes only with a +15mm or +35mm offset.

Will +35mm work? Is there a way for me to figure out if my brakes will fit and if the wheel shod with tire will too before buying? Even after all the reading I've done I'm still scratching my head trying to figure this one out.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The off-set should have no bearing on clearance, but the 4 piston caliper can pose some issues. This is likely a bigger issue with stock wheels, but will be tight getting a set of 10"s up front reguardless.

The GT500 runs a set of 9.5"s up front at +50mm off-set, but also runs a 255. I don't see you fitting a +35mm 10" up there without rubbing. You had better do some reseach and talk to some of those running such a wheel up front.

rub only happens when fully turned, not really a bearing on my daily driving. I am running 20x10 all the way around. I had to fitsome brembos under the same style wheel i already had. the only offset that fit was matched with a 20x10 wheel. Offset will matter a bit (if the fit is close already), but its mostly about the wheel design.
