Default wheel fitment question

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have just purchased my second Mustang. My first is an 01 black GT convertible (for sale by the way). My new acquisition is an 03 GT with KB supercharger. Two questions: I have American Racing Torq thrust 2's but with supercharger I want to go up from 275 to 315/35/17's. Do you know what wheel backspacing I need? Second, what tuning software do you recommend to tune her (she's running a bit rich). Thanks, appreciate the help.

I will leave the tune question to others, but you probably wont find an answer from anyone in here

You're gonna need about +28mm off-set for a 10.5" wheel. Be sure to by an appropriate tire for good grip, as you are gonna have in excess of 350 HP and the Mustang can use all the help available to put that powa to the street.

So..... is it 1/4 mile (boo ) or twisty-beast (yay!)
