275/40 x 18 for front/rear on a 95 Cobra? Too tall with a 1 inch drop?
I currently have a stock ride height 95 Cobra with 275/40 x 17s.
Coil overs for the front are on the way within a week or two. Likely going to see about a 1 inch drop on the car once the coil overs are installed.
Eventually I am regearing the car to a 3.73 or even a 4.10 and I'd like to run a slightly taller tire than I am now. Same aspect ratio/width but only on an 18 will give me about the one inch extra diameter I am looking for.
Any serious issues by going with the slightly taller tire? I know that my current size is around 25.6 inches which is slightly smaller than the original stock tires. If I go with my planned 275/40 x 18s it would put me about 1/2 an inch over the original stock tire diameter.

I'm looking to run 3:73 to maybe even 4:10. If I run a 4:10 then I want the larger tire diameter on the rear.
I'm looking to stay right in the 26 inch tall sweet spot for the front. So maybe even going 275/35x18 front but step up in diameter and stagger somewhere between a 285-295 on a 35-40% aspect ratio on an 18 for the rear.
The 17x9 03 wheels I have now would be used more for track day wheels with same tires on all 4 corners, that is until I can get some much lighter wheels. Staggered 18 inch setup would be more for street, mileage, and the drag strip.
