Default What tires should I get?

Looking to get new tires for my 05 GT and the wheels and tires I have on right now are 18x8" and 255/45/18 Toyo tires. The tires are completely shot and I need new tires soon, cheapest set I could find installed was at tires plus for a set of Bridgestone Potenza's at $750 all corners mounted balanced and an alignment check. Discount tire has a national account with Advance Auto (where I work) and I can get a discount plus they price match online prices. I want a good performing tire that will last fairly long and that has good amount of grip. I live in Florida so a performance tire or summer tire is ideal. Thanks

I recently put on a set of Potenza S-04's on my 2010 GT. So far, I love the tire. Just finished driving the Stang from Denver to Yellowstone National Park and back (about 1500 miles), and they were tremendous. Hit some pretty heavy rain and the tires did fine. I had the OE P-Zero Nero A/S on the car before, and the S-04's beat them hands down.

Haven't tried the tires on the track yet, but I think they will be pretty good. I have a track day and autocross day later this month. We'll see how they do.
