It just doesn’t get any better than this: A street driven, pump gas badass that’s unassuming and brings new meaning to the adage, walks softly but carries a big stick! This Fox-body coupe has the heart of a Coyote and tows a trailer to the track, snaps off a best pass of 10.75 @ 127 mph on 1.41 60-foot and then hooks up his trailer and drives home. How’s that for cool?
Evolution Performance is at it again with its Gotta Have It Green 2013 Mustang GT nicknamed, the Green Goblin. What do we mean by, they’re at it again? How about 7.92 passes at 173.56 mph? Yup, and it’s all thanks to a well-sorted chassis and a huge 4.5L Whipple blower pushing boost into a built Coyote! Check out the mod list and the video below, no wonder the thing needs a ‘chute!
The jury is still out on the four-cylinder turbocharged Mustang and whether it will or will not live up to the Mustang name, but I don’t think that caution needs to be extended to the GT. For one, it’s powered by the same Coyote that we’ve all come to know and love. 420 horsepower is nice number right? Well, you’ll be pleased to know that it sounds just as impressive as that number is.
While I don’t have any doubt that the entire planet will inundated with ads for the new Mustang in the coming months, this is the first official one I’ve seen pop-up. Chalk it up to the forums to be on top of this stuff. Aside from being an obvious ploy towards getting youngsters to buy their new sports car. I don’t think they’ll have a problem with that at all. It’s absolutely modern looking, but still clearly a Mustang.
The guys over at American Muscle got an early look at the new Mustang before the world saw it on Good Morning America. What’s really interesting is that this model is the 2.3-liter Eco-boosted Mustang with the performance package. They’re not technically calling it the SVO yet… But that’s what it is.
We were able to swing down by Venice beach to catch the debut of the new Mustang last night in case you weren’t able to get out to an event near you. It’s a great design in photos, but it’s even better in person.
The brand new S550 has been finally (officially) revealed. What do you think? Has Ford hit it out of the park with their new design? Or have they ruined it FOREVER?
