I read this and my stomach churned...I am paranoid about the car falling on me so I always rent my buddies lift or just pay someone else to do the work.

Glad you are OK and let us know how the LCAs work because I just ordered them last night to replace my spohn lcas because I can't handle the vibration and noise on my daily driver.

The Lcas are worth it putting them in. I lovemine. What not "worth it" is to not take the extra minute to put the car properly on jack stands. I'm going to bet that you've learn your lesson, so I'll stop betting up on you now.

I hope ... Regardless always jack up a vehicle properly. My dad used to work for a Nascar team so I'd be dead meat if I didn't pratice good mechanic skills. I always do and I'm very **** about it. I still freak out underneath the car some times.

yeah, i meant they werent worth getting almost getting crushed to death over.

im sure ill be happy with them. least now i have an interesting story to tell about about the install.

believe me, lesson learned about the jack stands.

Glad your Ok dude.. Just one more piece of advice in addition to what all the others are saying. In addition to the jack stands, you need to block the wheels that are still on the ground so they can't roll.

If its your front wheels off the ground, make sure the e-brake is on. If the rear wheels are off the ground block the fronts. I've seen where a car has fallen off the jack stands because the car was on a bit of an incline and the front wheels have allowed the car to move just enough that it fell off the stands..
