Ok guys I installed GT500 pumps this past weekend. I obtained the Saleen GT500 installation instructions, and it seemed like my harness was from Saleen from the pictures. Well, after we installed the pumps, there was 1 wire missing from the Saleen harness = Blue/red stripe. The attached instructions (pg 2) ask that you take the blue/red stripe wire hanging from the Saleen harness, and splice it into the blue/red stripe wire on the stock harness. Anyone have a clue what the blue/red stripe wire is for? We wired everything else accordingly and the car started up fine without touching the blue/red stripe on the stock harness. There were no warning lights at all, and the car seemed to be driving fine. I am waiting to go get a dyno tune, but I don’t want to until I know my wiring is right and the pumps are functioning . Please help me figure out what that wire is for, and what I can do to fix it. I called Saleen to ask them and their response was “buy a new harness”, yeah for like $150!!! Thanks for your help!!

Thanks for the link. I haven't been able to get on in a few days and i am going to review it right now. In the mean time, i will update you with a few pics.

Here are some pictures that i took. As you can see , The 1st pic is both FDPMS and harneses. the 2nd pic is the saleen harness connector that plugs into the new FDPM. The 3rd pic is the stock harness connector plugged into the stock FDPM. The stock harness has that blue/red wire stripe. The saleen harness i have installed does not have any blue/red wire like instructions call for.

I data logged on my way to friends house, it idled right at .40. When i gave it only slight gas, it shot up to .5 and that was "maxed"out because it would not increase above .500, this means i am runnning of one pump?

I looked and on a 4.6L the LB-RD wire is the FuelPump Control wire
and should be hooked to the secondary FPDM as well.
Otherwise the second FPDM will not activate the second pump.
