so i think my water pump just broke

i saw in one of the threads that another member made a diy for this job, but if its something that IS covered under the warranty why not just save the penny in parts and time on labor and have them do their job. Im gonna go to the dealer with either copy of the powertrain warranty and any other docs that support me.

good news! ford covered the parts and work. Service writer said that both the thermostat housing and water pump were switched so I dont expect to mess with this again for a while.

Yep, cracked t-stat housing. The water pumps on the 4.0 are pretty hardy so I, too, doubt it's the pump.
