Default Water Dipping

I see a lot of people on here talk about plastidipping there wheels, body panels, emblems and what ever.I have been reading about water transfer dipping. This looks real cool, lots of possibilities.I don't know if it is new or not.So many parts you could use this process on and just about any pattern you can imagine transfers.Wood grain, skulls, carbon fiber and just on and on.
I was thinking valve covers would be something pretty cool to do.Says heat does not affect it after it is set up.
Here is a youtube link showing the process

looks almost like electroplating only you wouldn't be able to stick your hands in the solution if it was though :-/

I think the allure of plastidip is if you don't like it you can easily take it off. And you can just go pick it up at your local store. How many people locally do "hydrographics" ?

Just throwin it out there, looks cool to me.I don't think plasti dipping has hundreds of patterns either.I think most body shops or any graphics/stripe installer would offer this service. It actually doesn't look to hard and they sell kits online if your really feeling frisky.

not everything can be powdercoated due to the curing high heat process too - I am not entirely sure there's many places that offer this.
