AMR Rims FIASCO

I try to do any labor that involves removing the wheels myself, but on the rare occasion (tire install etc) that another shop has to touch them.. I'll do a walk around with a manager first so they can agree to the condition of the wheels before touching them. I'm also "nuts" enough to take walk around pictures of my car before they touch it (as a fall back / if they try to deny doing any damage). I have low trust/faith in most places, save two shops that I built a relationship up at and trust, I don't take these measures there..
probably sounds fussy but it's the only way to keep the car pristine, and it's the only way to keep the shop on the hook for any potential damage. heard too many horror stories.

I went back and fourth several times with wheels with bad finish on the charcoals...
As new the finish is VERY thin As someone else already said.
I would NOT install these with the stock finish. You will very likely need to re-do them shortly and there isnt a good match for matte touch up.
You're best of taking them for your choice of colors in a nice durable powder coat.
I wound up pulling all the wheels and doing a matte black powder.
AM were very good through the whole process, the fact that it was required kinda stank.
