Default Heat under dashboard drivers side

As the weather has gotten warmer here in Maryland, I have noticed that I have a lot of heat resonating up around the steering column. The search feature won't work for me, so I apologize if discussed before. Is this a common issue? I am still under warranty as this is a 2013 V6 with 6000 miles. Thanks

I'll bump this thread as I have noticed the same with my car ('12 V6, 20k miles). I've never been seriously concerned as I have never noticed an odor, as if something is overheating or there is an exhaust leak, it is just a bit of heat around the steering column. It doesn't seem to change with vent or fan settings, but the AC easily overpowers it.

Same here, it did the same thing in my 2007 too. Never worried about it either.

Not sure that worried is the term I would use. It is annoying to have the heat hit you in the face, as I really prefer to drive with the windows down. I am coming up on my first oil change, I am around 30%. So I will ask then. I was just wondering if this was something that many others experienced.

I've also had this happen recently in my 2013. Thought it was odd but didn't make much of it.
