You probably could have gotten away with the Cobra badges but the SVT was to much. 95% of real Mustang people hate when SVT/Cobra badges get put on cars that can't back it up. not even with the cobra badges. with a 4v swap i would be willing to turn the other shoulder but its still not a cobra even with the motor in (but hey its atleast got the powerplant). cobra and svt badges all over a 2v NPI gt = [:'(]. i know he did a LOT of work and did an excellent job restoring it but i hate mis-badged cars with a passion.

I don't care about Forbra badges as long as they have the engine. The one thing that get me riled up though when a 2v or "exxxpecially" a 6 banger uses Cobra badges. They go to race someone and they get their butts handed to them and some ricer kid or a novice driver can say "They beat a cobra." And, it just bring an already slow starter peoples car to a lower pride. People have been remaking stockers into limited editions and higher modded cars since the 50's and it wont change.
