Hello fellow GT drivers.

Need some help from someone in the know.

My GT suddenly will not idle at all when cold and barely when at normal operating temperature.

The idle RPM's no longer decrease gradually when shifting or pulling to a stop.

It will barely idle when totally warmed up but strugles to maintain 400-500 RPM's.

I realize it is probably a sensor but was hoping someone on the forum may have experienced the same problem and could recommend which one needs replacing.

goto auto zone and they have a free diognaostic test there. then it will tell you wich scensor to replace.

Sounds similar to last week when my Idle Air Contol went bad... Except mine wouldn't Idle at all unless I gassed it...
If you want to check take off the hose running into the IAC and see if the piston moves when you change from Idle to a throttled Position... If it doesn't then that's probabally it. Some people will tell you to clean it out with brake fluid or carb cleaner also...

Sounds exactly like a bad IAC, or a huge vacuum leak.
