Default gauges???

im lookin at getting gauges since im blown now. right now i am considering the autometer Cobalt gauges. i want the boost gauge, and the wideband a/f ratio gauge. now my question is will it make a difference if i go electrical or mechanical boost gauge. are the readings more accurate electrically, and as far as the a/f gauge goes. do i absolutely need wideband or will the standard gauge be ok?? any help is appreciated.

The narrow band AF gauges are just a fancy light show. The wideband is def. the way to go. IMHO though

You don't really need an a/f gauge at all. It's nice to have but not a 100% must. A fuel pressur gauge will tell you if your motor is not getting the fuel it needs. Your a/f ratio is programmed into your tune. If your pump goes kaput or a line busts your pressure will drop on the gauge. An a/f gauge would be nice to tell if an injector was stuck shut or something tho. If you do decide to get one, get the AEM wideband. It'll set you back close to $400.00. I just have fuel pressure and boost gauges (both electric) and they are dead on accurate to whatmy tuner'sdyno sensors read.
