my 01 gt didnt start consuming oil till i hit 90000 miles. now it will drop about a 1/4of a quart still runs strong

It doesn't smoke or anything. What do you all think the issue is? It has done this for the last 30,000 miles or so, but I have never had any issues so I just ignored it.
