Default Rim centercaps

Ill start out by saying this may sound like a dumb question.....

Ok i have my Chrome DD bullits on my car but they have the snake as the centercap. Well i want to put my stocker Horse centercaps back on with the chrome bullits. Do i have to take off my wheels just to get the centercaps off or is there a way to get them off? I thought about wedging them out but im afraid to hurt the chrome. Any ideas?

You have to take off the rim to get it out without damage.

Bwahaha got them out with no scratches. Just took some patience. Gives me peace at mind that the snakes are out and the ponies are back in!
