Default Problem with Idle PLEASE HELP

The idle for some reason has stuck at ~2300 rpm. It is not just at idle also if i am driving down the street and i am not at 2300 it will accelerate untill it gets there. I have no clue where the extra air is coming from. I have sprayed all vacuum lines with carb cleaner to try to find the leak i have taken apart the K&N intake and inspected it for cracks and holes, i have taken apart the BBK tb and inspected it for the same along with the gasket, the only thing i have not checked is the intake manifold gasket which is only about a year old, the pcv valve is fine along with the grommet.

no clue, cant figure it out neither can any of the guys at the autoparts store.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Geoff

Seems like MOST idle issues come from a bad IAC.

maybe the throttle position sensor is going out... Also, if the bbk TB has a idle set screw you can try resetting it to default (back the screw out so it is not touching the TB plate.Turn the screw back so it is just touching the plateand then turn it 1.5 turns as it should idle at 700). And, how about disconnecting both battery cables for 10 min. reconnect for the computer to relearn the motor's config. or, maybe a problem with the cruise control parts...
