Does anyone know if Cobra 4V heads will REALLY work on a 2004 Stock GT? I read an article from FoxLake that it can be done. If so, how much horsepower will I expect and if it is worth doing it.

Last, I installed bassani x-pipes and Magnaflow cat-backs, and was wondering if JBA Shorty Headers will fit on the Bassani x-pipes? I know shorties doesn't do much with horsepower, but was wondering if they make a difference in sound. Any help will be very much appreciated.

use the search feature...theres a million threads about the 4v swap and how to do it...and for the headers, shorties are a waste of time. if you're gonna do headers, do it right and get long tubes

Unless you wanna push past 600rwhp...... 4v IMO is pointless. A well built 2v will get there just as quickly. Thats just IMO. The amount of dough you will spend on mods and labor (that is if you don't do it yourself), and you could have gotten a built 2v motor with a D-1 that will get you plenty of juice for the go.
