new moter now reverse lights staying on

just but a 01 cobra dohc moter in my 01 gt and used my gt harness and now my reverse lights are on whenever my ignition is on

mine did the same thing but happened after i put my clutch in. even when i pulled the fuse they still stayed on. never found out what it was ended up pulling the bulbs out.
