gonna be at least $6k for the swap, just keep your car auto, better for the quarter mile anyways, it's much more consistent for obvious reasons
Why that much? Seems like all you would need is the transmission, the wiring, the fly wheel, the clutch pedal, a clutch, and maybe the ECM. I can find all of those parts in a Pick U pull for under $1000.

Good luck with that... maybe it's just me but if I were to ever swap my car to manual I would buy only new things and better than stock things, hence the $6k mark. Also, little to no people on this forum have the mechanically inclined ability to even pull off a swap like that, another benchmark reason for the $6k price tag.

I have around 7 pick U pull's around me, each with over 100 acres of cars, I can find damn near anything. Agreed that it would be a pain in the butt, much easier to just sell the auto and get a manual. I think that it could be done for $2000, but why bother?
