Default A/F gauges?

I was thinking about getting an A/F gauge. How do you hook them up? Are they accurate? Anyone know?

Wideband A/F monitoring systems are very accurate over a wide range of A/F ratios. If you want a great budget system go with the AEM, I think I got mine for $250 at RPM outlet.

Did you hook it up? How? Silly as it sounds my main concern is I wouldn't wanna have to pay someone like $200 to hook it up..

Yes I have installed the gauge myself. The instruction are very easy to follow.

The AEM one is very easy to install plus you don't have to do any calibrations.

Besides the O2 sensor, all you need is to hook up a positive to any switched 12v source and the ground.

I use the Innovate LC-1 because it updates faster than the AEM, but they're both great products. It costs about $230 with the gauge, sensor and processor. The install took be a few hours, with most of that time spent running wires stealthily.

It's very easy to install and use. I highly recommend one if your can has any sort of performance parts on it.
