are you meaning like a seperate air/fuel mixture gauge kinda thing?

well on a dyno they stick a wide band into your tailpipe and it reads the air fuel ratios. i think it has to go plugged in to your exhaust to be a wide band but dont quote me on that.. google works wonders man haha

yeah makes sense.. and well i'm at work, and i'm blocked from automotive, and smelt the fuel on the way in here, figured i'd hit up some people on here.

I have off road x-pipe on my 03 gt with flowmasters, and when im at a red light its like im inhaling the tail pipes. smell the fumes all the time.

A wide band o2 sensor would tell you if lean or rich. The ones in the tail pipe are not as acurate as the screw in type.

Checking the plugs only works if you go wide open throttle then shut it off immediately. Not safe or practical in most cases.

back then i was experiencing backfires at high throttle settings.. immediate sign that the fuel/air ratio is too lean.. had to check the plugs after that..
