but to sum it up, waste your money on 100 octane if you want, let everyone know the results since you have been warned.

im tuned for 93 octane but ive ran with 116 at the track and it didnt "hurt" the car, nor did i see any faster times other than how fast my wallet ran out.

Upping the octane will allow you to get more aggressive with timing, which will give you more power. But simply upping the octane without advancing timing, will not help. every one is correct, that without a tune change, it won't make any diff.
