Swapping rear LCAs: Front pivot bolts are a PITA!
#11
Strange...I thought the front pivot bolts were easy to remove. I had the most problems with lining up the holes to bolt on the rears. After about 2 hours, I realized that the rear end rotates forwards a bit. I put a jack under the pumpkin and lifted it up abit and it lined right up.

I didnt have a problem at all doing LCAs and UCAs, espessialy on the front. All I used for it was a wrench, a breaker bar, and my foot to kick the breaker bar. Got all the nuts off the bolts and everything just came off easily

just installed a set of summit lca's this weekend. me and a buddy of mine did it in my garage on jackstands and no power tools. it took us about 4 hours, but subtract out smoke breaks, putting one lca in upside down and it doesnt take too long. install was simple, make sure you have a breaker bar and some arm strength though youll need it.
