Why don't you just try a little bit of belt dressing if the noise goes away you're fine.
Most of the time in situations as this, belt dressing will stop a squeak -- until it wears off.... It is an "aspirin" it doesn't fix the underlying problem.
Just took off the belt I got from autozone and compared it to the old one and its bigger....WTF!?!? Moral of the story don't trust autozone's little computer system to tell you what type of belt you need cause they can be WRONG! On another note I bought the belt dresser can and sprayed it on my old belt that I put back on cause it wasn't in bad shape just thought I'd add life to it and as soon as I sprayed it, it started squeaking, I just can't win! How do I get that awful belt dresser b/s off my belt??
Anyway to get it off....will it come off soon or should I just buy a new belt cause my car sounds mexican....and I don't like it when it sounds mexican

with the car running, take a bar of soap and hold it on the grooves of the belt. if the squeaking stops then odds are it is your belt. if not, start checking your pullies.
just man up and purchase a new belt (THAT FITS) take your old belt into the store and compare before you walk out the door. Stop spraying all kinds of crap all over it. Just get a new one and dont put anything on it
I took off my old belt that I put back on, cleaned the pulley's and the belt it's self I am hoping this takes care of the problem...FYI Don't use belt dressing....EVER (the guy @ the dealer said it causes more problems then it solves), and DONT trust autozone's computer system to tell you what part you need always double check.
