Thanks for the replies. Well My car has B springs all around and the back is only lowered about half an inch or so. Even then, I am using fox-body Strange 10 ways. Yeah, they are noisy as hell. I know some people claim theirs to be quiet so I didn't really think much about it until I installed them and realized the loudness people are on about.

I'm sure they work pretty well at the track but my car won't be seeing the track anymore so I just need something quieter.

Looks like i'll just pick up a pair of KYB GR2's.

i'd say go for the koni's. with the deals they got goin on.

i would say against going with fox style shocks on the rear, i hear they have a different design in the mount they causes them to be weaker? not sure if thats with all manufacturers or just stock replacements... if your only running B springs then it's not even necessary.

i've heard nothing but complaints about noise from strange's stuff. i have QA1 and i'm highly disappointed. never again. its koni or bilstein for me.

On second thought...American Muscle has the fox body Tokico blues for $49.99 but the new edge ones for $59.99. If I go with the Tokico's, I could save $20 bucks using the fox body ones. Now my car has B springs all around and the rear ground-to-fender is about 27 3/4" which isn't a big drop. I have used fox body lakewoods in the past and am now using fox body Strange 10 ways without any problems as far as bottoming-out.

Do you guys think i'll be fine with using the fox body ones again or should I just stick to new edge ones? I might be selling the car soon but either way I doubt i'll put the stock springs back on.

EDIT: I just read your post Zero. Ehh, i'll probably just stick to new edge shocks and not worry about the whole thing then

yea, the only reason to get fox-shocks/struts is there is an extra 1" of travel when you lower 1.5-2" compared to stock... but if your only dropped .5 to 1" then i'd say stick with the SN95+'s, Maximum motorsports recommends the use of them for older fox cars even because of the design... i still say koni though. sure you might pay a tad more, but Koni's name brand is worth it to me - i dont think i've ever heard of any negative report.

edit: the koni STR-T's are 51 each at tirerack. cheaper than the SN95 tokico's. corse, i dunno about shipping which could add 20$ to the total order.
