I have an '01 bullitt with a 3650, has a mgw shifter, adjustable quadrant, firewall adjuster, and a spec stage 2 clutch. It is grinding sometimes when I try to downshift into 1st and when I try to shift into 2nd it grinds. It also grinds when I try to downshift into 2nd. The funny thing is when I shift at wot it hits 2nd gear smooth without even a scratch. I've tried adjusting the firewall adjuster and I've flushed the trans and put pennzoil synchromesh in it. The clutch seems as if it may be slipping a little bit. If I'm cruising in 5th around 2k rpms and rev it up to 4k and dump the clutch it seems to slip a little. It felt like it was slipping my 3-4 shift at the track also this past Wednesday. Any advice/ suggestions?
