Question Is it possible to put my 429 in a SN95

I was wondering if it's possible to put my 1968 429 BB and C6 and my curry 9" in a SN95? I would probably buy a shell, but I'm wondering if it's possible and what would I need? It's currently in my 93 Foxbody its in my sig. Any help much appricated.

You would need to transfer everything from the fox to the sn95, simple as that.

Headers might need a bit of persuasion depending on which ones you have however.

If you already have it in a fox then its pretty much already done.

So all I need is probably to customize my big block headers? What else do I need to do to a SN95 to handle about 450-500hp from a big block? And is it possible to install a 2 step? I don't know much about it except my friend has it in his 2002 mustang and it sounds pretty bad a$$. Any help much appricated.

2 step what? Nitrous? Launch control?

Whatever you had done to the fox id do the same. The very obvious things such as sub frame connectors. Best would to be cage it and beef up the torque boxes.

Did you buy the fox with the 429 in it?

My dad and his friend built in the 2004 and it sat till 2009 when I bought it with a lost title found out there's a lean on it and it's not worth the about the past owner has on it from mortgage not my dads friend. So it's been just started up and I drove it on my road a mile up the road etc. So I just know what my dad and his friend did to it.
And my friend has something called 2 step, its set at 4500 on his mustang basically it makes it sound like its a redline I think it sounds pretty bad a$$. And I want it so I don't blow up my BB cause they don't like high rpm's.

a two step is an electric launch control, IE: for launching a car at the drag strip, its not a rev limiter like it seems you are trying to refer to, it has no function once you are driving and moving, it ties into the factory ignition system.

Okay that's for the info, I didn't know that. Do they make a kit for big blocks?

Beforing being able to answer a question like that it is necessary to know what kind of ignition and fuel system you plan on running. Im assumin you know by running that motor it doesnt just drop in, none of your engine wirring, gauges, fuel system, or ignition system will carry over. Also your running an auto trans, 2 steps are generally beneficial for a manual car, unless u plan on holding the pedal to the floor and dropping the auto out of neutral, generally u go with a trans brake..... But again are u building a drag car?

I'm building a fun street/strip car. I'm 18 and it will be my first car build so it's all new to me. I've been raised around cars my whole life so I know I can build it with my dads help so it will be probably a 2 year build for me. Would a trans brake be good for a street car to or only for drag cars?
