Arrow Slapping/Flapping Noise MOTOR/UNDER HOOD- NEED HELP - THANK YOU :)

Alright this has recently started happening. 2001 GT Automatic

When hit the throttle just a bit the car accelerates very slow and there is a flapping/slapping sound from the motor/under the hood.

Even if i am going at 40 MPH i let go of the throttle the flapping goes away i touch the throttle raising about 100 RPM it flaps. At any speed if I let go of the throttle it sounds just fine there is no slapping noise, now i press down just a bit enough to get the car to maintain speed it flaps.

While cruising without hitting the throttle perfect i touch the throttle to accelerate just a tiny bit it flaps and it feels weak while accelerating if I push down on the throttle more it sounds just fine.

Only happens when i accelerate and when i push down on the throttle just a tiny bit.

I recently put in new intake manifold / X Pipe ( Catted ) & SLP 2 Exhaust

What could cause this anything will help.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

UPDATE - Throttle body seems fine.

It happens now matter what it just goes faster when i hit the throttle it never goes away.

I think it has always been like this, it just flaps faster as the throttle gets pushed down more sounds from the driver side of the hood and only happens when i accelerate.

Check for an exhaust leak. Did you put a new gasket on the passenger side manifold where the new x pipe meets the exhaust manifold

YEP I bought new ones and the shop put them in.

New gaskets from Exhaust Manifold/Headers to X Pipe/Mid Pipe

I've been thinking its a leak somewhere sounds like loosing air.

I think that the gaskets I got SUCK !!! Since i bought them from Auto Zone for like $6.00 each i noticed they were very thin but i am not 100% on what the problem might be will be taking it to the shop that installed the X Pipe and Exhaust Friday.

Any suggestions are still welcome that way we can pin point the problem !

THANK YOU ALL

I'm experiencing the same issue on my 2001 Mustang Base V6. I did have the passenger side intake manifold recently replaced hoping that would solve my issue but the noise is still there and only when accelerating.
