steering wheel shake
I have a 2001 4.6L 5 speed coupe. When I get between 50-60mph my steering wheel shakes bad, but it doesn't shake before 50 or after 60mph. Also when I press my breaks my steering wheel shakes violently. I just had my tires rotated and balanced and air was checked. Someone said rotors, someone said shocks, but those are fairly new and I don't bounce around. What else could it be?

its either your rotors or a wheel bearing gone bad or tie rod one of the 3 , from what you said sounds like it may be a tie rod ,cause brake rotor most of the time only does this ,if its a warped rotor or applying the break ,not dureing normal driveing and no break applyed

Might be a tire balance issue too. My Firebird has developed the same damned thing, and I have replaced everything short of the control arms and I still can't get it to go away. I'm pretty much down to tires at this point.
