if i had a stock 2v stang, the only mods i would do are gears/midpipe/weld in mufflers/tune (maybe just speedcal and mils)

anything else imo is a waste of money on these cars... i said for him to get the LTs only because he showed no desire to severly mod his car...he was asking about exhaust only...and yea, LTs sound good

if you just want a mild modded stang i would go for it
Yeah that is cool. I was just expressing my opinion, which seems similar to yours. My car has just a midpipe, weld-in mufflers, gears, and a tune. But rather than get into cams&heads and LTs down the road I will just be saving money and maybe get a procharger.

But yeah as far as LTs being worth it when you are doing full bolt-ons, yeah i would do them. There were a few posts about the nice gains you see from them.

Engine & Hp wise, that's about it except I'd do heads and headers either at the same time or heads first. Obviously the smart choice would be to do the headers at the same time to save on hassle. I'm not a big fan of doing the intake until and higher F/I numbers.

UDP's are gay and pointless. (Unless almost free and made by steeda) Electric Water pump would give me more of a warm and cuddly feeling before UDP's. Not huge re-gains in power but definitely worth 10 up top.

Shorties are worth 7-10, LT's are about 10-18 brand and CAR depending. I don't know many cars that have ever gained more than that even with Kooks.

I'd worry about tires, trans and axles first, but that's just me... Hell, I even wish I would have done the supporting mods before my blower. I was afraid to launch after I started making power.

The very first thing I would have done to my car would have been Gears, Axles and of course tires. Then Clutch.

If I thought about it I would have done full suspension with a K-member before the blower.
