I just ordered all of my lowering stuff as well. Should be here this week.

I really wanted to get the D spec damper kit. If you can afford that i say go d spec. I didnt want to put that much money into a shock and strut kit tho. So i got the HP shcosk and struts

I'll probably go ahead and get the isos... 3" might be more than I'm willing to go with the speedbumps in my area.

Yeah I saw those, but they are a little more than I'd like to spend right now. I'm about to spend another $2000 on a two week trip out west, so I'd have to dig into my savings if I wanted to spend more than $850ish on all of this. Thanks for the suggestion though.

my set up:

H&R SS
Iso's
Tokico blue shock/strut
steeda balljoint ( a must)
Steeda Bumpsteer ( really helps! )

Might as well do the last two while you have everything torn apart. Afterwards get yourself an alignment!

I myself considered leaving out the Iso's, but decided against it. To be honest, I am quite happy with the look achieved. I didnt want to go into the weeds, just wanted to close the fenderwell gap. The ball joints and bumpsteer kits arent strictly necessary, i dont run them and I have NO alignment or driveability issues, though I considered getting them as well, and still might.

As far adjustable, If ya want a toy, then the KONI yellows are recommended, but if your a dd and not running at a track, then I wouldnt ( and didnt) get them. I have put 20 miles on since I didn the lowering yesterday and the ride is excellent, and the corning feel is much improved.

Sorry no pics...rained like crazy here today. Sometime this week i'll take some after I wash the car.

This is what my car looks like with:

Vogtland springs (with only 1 iso per spring)
MM caster/camber plates

Tokico D-Spec shocks and struts

The bolded are all you need for lowering the car.

Here I'm going through the S's on Watkins Glen NY speedway at around 65 MPH and she handled like a dream.

I just used Max Speed 1 1/2" lowering springs, stock ISO's, KYB GR2 struts and shocks, nothing else.

I know a few people didn't like the Max Speed springs but I got no complaints and the car handles great and I've had no problem with this set up for over 7K-8K.

I love the stance and it isn't overkill.
