Cam install questions

HOly smokes.. just got done chatting with Brenspeed and even with 90 octane, I'll still be making 450whp. Pretty sure I won't be getting cams or anything else until later on after I see how the intercooler and more boost does... I can spend that money on a high stall torque converter and light weight drive shaft, Cut a full second or so off the 1/4...
I can still do cams/FRPP manifold, but I'll have to de-tune it and keep things at 450whp until I go forged. I know people are willing to make more on the stock block but after what happened last summer, not gonna push my luck lol
Cams would sound killer though..

i talked to bbr today about their blower grind cams, they infomed me that the billet blanks from ford are on nationwide backorder and apperently there is no ETA. that menas if the cams arent in stock, you cant get them.

No way I would press my luck either.

^^ The problem with having a lot of power is that it (speed) goes by at the blink of an eye.. and before you know it, you're pegging the speedo and it "feels" like you have enough power to go 160-180mph, eventhough it still only reads 145. Thats when you know you have to back off.. or loose a motor
